Recently, I got the opportunity to assistant direct a music video for Velour Beauty. The one thing I have constantly struggled with is being authoritative, especially with a huge group of people. I have creative ideas yet I'm often too scared to voice them. This opportunity pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to take on a role I had been too scared to attempt. I had the chance to show my creativity in a welcoming environment which in turn resulted in an amazing shoot and a final product we were all content with. My biggest takeaway from this was realizing that I was the only thing holding myself back from achieveing things.
