Dealer's Choice — The final project of my last year in university was completely up to me. Despite having the flexibility to do anything, I made my mind up right away. I knew I wanted to do a short documentary on my mom and her new convenience store. Documentary filmmaking was something that I was always interested in. I knew that I had to do my first ever film on something and someones that inspires me. As cliché as it may sound, I think your produce the best work when you genuinely love the cause. There are many women like my mother that had to put off their dreams for kids, I wanted this documentary to be a source of inspiration for them.
